BookAuthor TNC

BookAuthor TNC is an author website template for novelists, nonfiction writers and independent publishers. It ships for Webflow, Astro, Figma and HTML.

The structure is built around a career rather than a single release. So the home page carries a featured carousel, while the Books page holds the whole back catalogue behind a genre filter. Then the About page introduces the writer, and the Events page handles appearances.

Each section has a single responsibility. The announcement bar promotes the newest title. The carousel surfaces the highlights. The catalogue handles depth, and the blog keeps the site alive between releases.

Because the Webflow CMS drives books, categories, events and articles, you enter a title once. After that, the featured carousel, the catalogue and every genre filter update themselves.

You can examine the live preview before purchasing. Check the live preview to see the genre filter and the announcement bar working.

What an Author Website Has to Do Between Books

Most author sites are built for a launch, so they age badly. Six months after publication the hero still shouts about a title everyone has already bought or ignored. Meanwhile the earlier books, which are what a new reader actually wants next, sit somewhere unreachable.

A working author site solves three problems instead. First, discovery. A reader who finished one novel needs the rest of the catalogue in one click, sorted by genre. Second, permanence. Retailer links change and publishers rotate, but your own domain does not. Third, contact. An email list outlives every platform you might otherwise depend on.

BookAuthor TNC is shaped around those three. The Books page filters by category, so mystery readers and fantasy readers each find their shelf. The announcement bar promotes the current release without rebuilding the hero. Then the Events page carries signings and talks, which is where most direct reader relationships actually begin.

One honest limitation. This template presents your books, but it does not process payments. So the buy buttons should point at your retailer or publisher pages.

Key Features of BookAuthor TNC

Featured book carousel. The home page runs a carousel of highlighted titles. Each card shows the cover, the genre label and the title. So a first-time visitor sees your range within a single screen.

Announcement bar and author hero. A slim bar above the navigation promotes the newest release with a direct link. Beneath it, the hero pairs a large statement with cover artwork and a call to action.

Books page with a genre filter. The catalogue page lists every title next to a category sidebar. Readers filter by Mystery, Thriller, Fantasy, Romance, Fiction, Textbook or eBooks. Because the categories are a CMS collection, you set your own.

Events page for signings and talks. Each event card carries a date, a photograph and a short description. So readers can find where you will be without emailing to ask.

Blog with category chips. Articles arrive as cards with a colored category label, such as Reviews, Guides or Updates. That way a reader browsing for craft advice does not wade through release announcements.

About page with video and signature. The About page pairs a portrait with an embedded video, a short biography and a scanned signature. Then social links and two calls to action send readers to the books or the blog.

BookAuthor TNC Frequently Asked Questions

Is BookAuthor TNC built for a single book or a whole back catalogue?

A whole catalogue. Books are a CMS collection, so the template scales from three titles to thirty. The featured carousel highlights current releases while the Books page holds everything else.

Can readers buy books directly through BookAuthor TNC?

No. The template presents your titles but does not process payments, because there is no ecommerce build. So point the buy buttons at your retailer, publisher or distributor pages.

How do readers browse by genre?

The Books page carries a category sidebar. Readers select a genre and the grid filters instantly. Because categories are a CMS collection, you define the genres you actually write in.

Does BookAuthor TNC include an events page?

Yes. Events are a dedicated page and a CMS collection. Each entry carries a date, an image and a description, which suits signings, festivals and author talks.

Which pages come with BookAuthor TNC?

Eleven designed pages, plus seven CMS collection templates. The designed pages cover Home, About Me, Books, Events, Blog, Testimonials, FAQ, Contact, a 404 page, a password page and search results.

Is BookAuthor TNC available outside Webflow?

Yes. It ships as a Webflow project, as a static HTML build and as a Figma design file. Each format is purchased separately, so you acquire only what you need.
