Astro has become the framework people reach for when a website needs to be fast and mostly made of content. Pages ship as static HTML with JavaScript added only where a component needs it, which is why marketing sites, blogs and documentation built with it tend to load quickly.
This list of Astro themes and templates is for business owners, developers and agencies who want a designed starting point instead of a blank project. Nine come from our own Astro templates catalog, where each has a live preview, and three are well known options from other creators that cover needs we do not, such as documentation.

How to Choose an Astro Theme
- Start from the content, not the look. A blog, a five page company site and a documentation site need different structures. Pick the template whose pages match what you will publish.
- Open the live preview on your phone. Speed is the reason to choose Astro, so check that the template feels fast and reads well on a small screen.
- Check how content is edited. Astro sites usually keep content in Markdown or MDX files, or pull it from a headless CMS. Make sure whoever updates the site is comfortable with that.
- Know where you will host it. Static Astro sites deploy to hosts such as Netlify, Vercel, Cloudflare and GitHub Pages. Pages rendered on demand need a host with an Astro adapter.
- Look at the license. Free themes range from MIT to GPL, and paid ones usually limit you to one site per purchase. Each TNCFlow purchase covers one website.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between an Astro theme and an Astro template?
Nothing meaningful. Both words describe a ready-made Astro project with pages, components and styles that you adapt to your own content. The Astro site calls them themes, while most marketplaces call them templates.
Are Astro themes free?
Many are. Open source options such as AstroWind and Starlight are free under the MIT license. Paid themes, including ours, usually cost between $49 and $99 and tend to offer a more finished, industry-specific design.
Do I need to know how to code to use an Astro template?
Some comfort with code helps. You install the project, edit content files and deploy from a terminal or a Git-based host. If that is not for you, we can set the template up for you, or you can choose the Webflow or Framer version of the same design.
Is Astro good for SEO?
Astro sends static HTML to the browser and adds JavaScript only where a component needs it, so pages are quick to load and easy for search engines to read. Rankings still depend on your content and links.
Where can I host an Astro site?
Static Astro sites run on most hosts, including Netlify, Vercel, Cloudflare and GitHub Pages. If you use on-demand rendering, choose a host that has an Astro adapter.
Can I get the same design for Webflow or Framer?
Yes for most of our templates. Each template page lists the platforms it is available for, and each platform version is sold separately.
