Pick the dark build if your photography is moody. It also suits long essays that people read at night, and niches that lean toward film, gaming, technology or travel. Dark backgrounds intensify saturated photography, and they reduce glare in a dimly lit environment.

One honest caveat belongs here. Dark mode is not automatically easier on the eyes.
