Webflow is free to start on the Starter plan. Paid Site plans cost $15 per month for Basic and $25 per month for Premium when billed yearly ($25 and $39 if you pay month to month), and Premium is the top self-serve plan for a normal website. Online stores cost $29 to $212 per month billed yearly, and Workspace plans for teams and freelancers start at $16 per month. Prices checked October 2026.
One thing to know before you read any older guide: in May 2026 Webflow replaced the CMS and Business site plans with a single Premium plan. If you are searching for the Webflow CMS plan or Business plan, Premium is what you buy today. Webflow revises its plans from time to time, so confirm the current figures on Webflow’s pricing page before you commit to a budget.
Webflow Site plans compared
A Site plan is what puts one website live. You pay one Site plan per site, and it covers hosting, SSL and the custom domain connection. All prices are in US dollars per month.
| Plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | Best for | Key limits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Free | Free | Learning, prototypes, testing a template | 2 static pages, 1 GB bandwidth, 50 form submissions, webflow.io subdomain only |
| Basic | $15 | $25 | Simple business sites, landing pages, portfolios with no blog | 300 static pages, 10 GB bandwidth, custom domain, no CMS |
| Premium | $25 | $39 | Blogs, content sites, any site built on CMS collections | 300 static pages, 20,000 CMS items, 40 collections, 50 GB bandwidth (more available as a paid add-on), site search |
| Team | $2,500 (annual contract) | Not offered | Larger marketing teams that need localization, publishing workflows and governance | See Webflow’s pricing page |
| Enterprise | Custom quote | Custom quote | Large organizations with security, uptime and support requirements | Custom |
The gap between Premium and Team is large. There is no plan between $25 and $2,500 per month, so for almost every small and mid sized business the real choice is Basic or Premium.
Webflow Ecommerce plans
If the site has a cart and checkout, you need an Ecommerce plan instead of Basic or Premium. An Ecommerce plan is still a Site plan, so you do not pay for both.
| Plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | Best for | Key limits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $29 | $42 | New and small stores | 500 ecommerce items, 2% transaction fee |
| Plus | $74 | $84 | Growing stores | 5,000 ecommerce items, 0% transaction fee |
| Advanced | $212 | $235 | Large catalogs | 15,000 ecommerce items, 0% transaction fee |
The 2% fee on Standard is charged by Webflow on top of what your payment processor charges. Each plan also has a yearly sales volume limit, which you can check on Webflow’s pricing page.
Webflow Workspace plans
A Workspace is the account where you build. Workspace plans control how many unpublished (staging) sites you can keep and who can work on them. They come in two groups: one for in-house teams and one for freelancers and agencies.
| Plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Free | Free | One person with one or two sites |
| Core (teams) | $19 | $28 | Small in-house teams |
| Growth (teams) | $49 | $60 | Teams running many sites |
| Freelancer | $16 | $24 | Solo freelancers building for clients |
| Agency | $35 | $42 | Agencies with many client sites |
Extra people are added as seats. A full seat, for someone who designs and builds, costs $39 per month billed yearly or $45 billed monthly. A limited seat, for someone who only edits content, costs $15 billed yearly or $19 billed monthly. Reviewers who only comment are free. For staging site limits on each plan, see Webflow’s pricing page.
Is Webflow free?
Yes. The Starter plan is free with no time limit, and you get the full Designer to build with. What you cannot do for free is connect your own domain. A free site lives on a webflow.io subdomain, so the free plan works for learning and prototyping but not for a live business site. The moment you want yourname.com, you need Basic at minimum.
What does the Webflow Starter plan include?
- 2 static pages per site
- 1 GB of bandwidth
- 50 form submissions
- A small CMS allowance for testing collections
- Publishing to a webflow.io subdomain, with no custom domain
Two pages is the limit that people hit first. It is enough to try a template and see how the Designer works, and not enough for a real site with a home, about, services and contact page.
Basic vs CMS plan: which do you need?
The old CMS plan is now called Premium, and existing CMS and Business sites have been moved to it. The question itself has not changed: does the site use CMS collections or not?
- Choose Basic ($15 per month billed yearly) if every page is static: a one page site, a brochure site, a sales funnel, a portfolio where you build each page by hand. Basic has no CMS at all.
- Choose Premium ($25 per month billed yearly) if anything on the site is a collection: blog posts, projects, team members, services, listings. Premium also adds site search and far more bandwidth.
The difference is $10 per month on yearly billing. If you plan to add a blog within the year, starting on Premium saves you a rebuild of the pages you made static to fit Basic.
Site plans vs Workspace plans
This is the part of Webflow pricing that confuses most people, so here it is in two lines.
- Site plan: paid per website. It publishes that one site on a custom domain.
- Workspace plan: paid per account and per seat. It covers where you build, how many unpublished sites you keep and who can collaborate.
A business owner with one website usually needs only a Site plan and can stay on the free Starter Workspace. A freelancer or agency usually pays for a Workspace plan and then adds a Site plan for each client site that goes live. A paid Workspace never replaces a Site plan: every live site still needs its own.
How much does Webflow cost per month in total?
Here are three worked examples using yearly billing. Each one assumes a single owner on the free Starter Workspace. A domain name is extra in every case, because Webflow plans do not include one.
A simple business site
Five to ten static pages, a contact form, no blog. Basic plan at $15 per month, which is $180 for the year. Paying month to month it is $25 per month, or $300 over twelve months.
A blog or CMS site
A company site with a blog, case studies or any other collection. Premium plan at $25 per month, which is $300 for the year. Month to month it is $39, or $468 over twelve months. If a second person needs to edit content inside Webflow, check the seat rules for your Workspace, since a limited seat adds $15 per month.
An online store
A small shop on the Standard Ecommerce plan pays $29 per month, which is $348 for the year, plus the 2% transaction fee. On $2,000 of monthly sales that fee is $40, so the real cost is about $69 per month. Plus costs $74 per month with no Webflow transaction fee, a difference of $45. That means Plus becomes the cheaper plan once the store sells more than $2,250 a month.
Optional add-ons
Most small sites need none of these, but they are the costs that surprise people later. On yearly billing, Localization starts at $9 per month per locale, Analyze starts at $9 per month, and Optimize starts at $299 per month. Extra bandwidth on Premium starts at $20 per month for another 50 GB.
Common mistakes when choosing a Webflow plan
- Buying a Workspace plan when you needed a Site plan. A paid Workspace does not put a site on your domain. If you have one website, buy the Site plan first.
- Choosing Basic for a site that uses the CMS. Basic has no collections. A template with a blog or project pages will not publish properly on it.
- Paying monthly for a site you will keep. Basic is $25 monthly against $15 yearly, and Premium is $39 against $25. Over a year, monthly billing costs $120 more on Basic and $168 more on Premium.
- Ignoring the transaction fee. The Standard Ecommerce plan looks cheapest, but the 2% fee makes Plus cheaper for any store selling more than $2,250 a month.
- Paying for seats nobody uses. Give full seats only to people who design and build. Content editors can use a limited seat and reviewers are free.
- Budgeting from an old article. Guides written before May 2026 still list CMS at $23 and Business at $39. Those plans are gone.
- Forgetting the cost of the build. The plan is the running cost. The design and build is a separate cost, and it is usually the larger one.
What a Webflow template costs on top of the plan
A Webflow template is a one-time purchase. You pay for it once, and then pay the Site plan for as long as the site is live. It replaces most of the design and build cost, which is why it is the cheapest way to get a professional Webflow site. You can browse premium Webflow templates or start with one of our free templates and pay nothing until you are ready to publish.
The template also decides which plan you need, so check what it uses before you pick a tier:
- Basic is enough: TNC Sales Funnel, a one page course funnel with no CMS.
- Premium needed: Somers (creative agency with CMS projects and team members), ShieldOS (cybersecurity and SaaS), DigiMark (digital marketing agency) and TNC Conf (events).
- Ecommerce plan required: Ecommerce TNC, FurniFlow TNC and Trendy TNC, which all use Webflow’s native cart.
If you would rather not set it up yourself, TNCFlow can install and customize the template for you. Book a call and we will tell you which plan your site needs.
